    Thoughts on state championship venues

Jamieson, Simeon if renovation, NC A and T, Bowman Gray, Catawba Shuford Stadium, Memorial Stadium or UNCC in Charlotte if we're talking about central locations in the state. If geography is not a factor then I would say App and ECU are good too

    Football Cleveland County

Met some Shelby parents at the UNC 7 on 7. They were very polite and courteous, and also seemed to understand what it took as far as getting their kids to college and not getting under their coaches skin was concerned. I applaud their attitude and conviction, it was quite admirable.

I appreciate you Sir. I'll be around, just not nearly as often and from a third party perspective. I've always tried to be unbiased but we all know how that goes to a certain point lol

I wish you guys the absolute best this year. I am coaching at RJ Reynolds now and probably won't be as active as I was in the past, last year being an odd year in which I felt the need to step back and do some self evaluation in my life, which i am happy led me down the path i am now on. I am...

    Lexington Football opening

Now that's a story that's been ongoing for three decades... it says a lot when Gary Whitman and Joe Gaddis, two state championship caliber coaches could not stick it out due to multiple factors. A few years ago Eric Brown didn't win much but I know from first hand experience the administration...

    Thomasville football job

Good luck to Thomasville. I'm very interested to see where this goes and hope the Bulldogs can get back on track. Thomasville vs Graham in 2000 was my first high school football playoff game I witnessed as a lad, and I didn't realize it then but I was watching CT block on most plays because my...

    Uh Oh in UNC land

SMU was feeling themselves. Duke and Cryalotta gave them a True ACC Welcome. Tar Holes played a tough schedule and I hope they don't but i feel they are more than ready for conference play. Louisville also impressive thus far especially in light of recent years. The ACC as a whole has...
