Ken’s made it clear that he took a substantial pay cut to coach at RR after having a sweet PE gig in Cabarrus County. He left Cent. Cab. to spend more time with his family, and his boys are getting older. And RR is a very tough job in a tough conference. Those may be some reasons why.
I’d highly recommend AL Brown beef up their non-conference. That conference lacks stiff competition besides Olympic at this point. Reagan is battle-tested and will win by 3 scores. ALB’s run defense may be good, but has it been tested?
No politicking that I know of, no, but it got ugly between both families of QB1 and QB2 ,who is now QB1, at Parkwood.
I hope Furr can get better with reps. This team could go far if the QB position improves. It’s the major weak point right now.
