    7A/8A Conference C

    Will be interesting to see how WC fares in the playoffs now that they aren't in 3A. Probably one of the largest differences in ADM numbers of any school in the state the last 2 years. Will they be like Weddington when they made the jump from 3A to 4A and keep rolling?? We'll see

    Haven't had a season over .500 other than when they played cupcakes like Pender, Trask, and Dixon each year pre-2020. Maybe they ought to recruit from NH county to actually have talent that can compete at the 4A level.

    Nothing personal at all! I just know some coaches in the area. The pay in Pender definitely does not stack up with Raleigh or CLT. New Hanover is much better. But with the way this area is growing things are beginning to get more expensive with more folks moving in.

    That was 2005 brother.... I don't know many high school football coaches that can afford 3 homes like yourself! But if you're selling.... maybe NHHS or Topsail can include that home in the coaching supplement!

    Topsail is in a much better place now than they were thanks to the Teachey Experiment. There is a reason he is moving on to the Big 12. But Pender county politics makes growing a program nearly impossible. Anyone that knows the area and the history knows that there is a constant revolving door...

    Very hard to get good coaches in the area when the cost of living continues to go up in NH, Pender, and Brunswick counties, but teacher pay, and coach pay continues to stay stagnant. I'm sure plenty of great coaches want to move to the area, but the coaching supplements do not make it worth it...
