    It’s a tough position to fill. Gaziano has to be on there since he’s the schools all time sack leader. After that you are choosing Lowry, Ifeadi and Wooton. I picked Dean for his versatility. Perhaps you can move Dean inside (replace Thompson) and add Wooton.

    I strongly considered Persa, but ultimately went with Thorson. Persa was definitely a better player, but Thorson had the longevity (four year starter) and team success. 2010 Persa was the best player I have ever seen in Evanston.

    That’s so ridiculous. Northwestern would never voluntarily leave the Big Ten unless the conference dissolves (a very real possibility in the coming years). I don’t even think the team is going to be that bad this year. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them win week 1.

    A defense of Schill and Gragg

    Rip me all you want, but history will be kind to Michael Schill. He corrected his mistake swiftly and saved the university from Pat Fitzgeralds toxicity.
