    I agree. I was there and we were better than Wisconsin, Florida, and of course UNC. I really think we could beat Michigan State if we played really well. It was my 1st final four and my last, but it was fun to experience atmosphere although from my seats, you had a much better view on TV.

    Good post. We must realize he just finished his freshman year and has played a total of 10 games at the D1 level. Stats from his high school and AAU days shows he’s a much better shooter than he showed in 10 games as a 18 year. Playing AAU ball in 2023-24, he played 14 games, averaging 16.3...

    If we can lose a pg from SEMO to High Point, it doesn't bode well for us fielding a decent team next season. I hope some things are happening behind the scenes but I don’t have much hope.

    Mid-Majors, can they win in the NIL world?

    Some years back, before the NCAA tournament expanded the number of teams playing in it, the NIT was the most prestigious tournament. I can recall watching the NIT when I was a very young teenager in the early 60’s. Providence was the dominant team back then, with Len Wilfong and Vinnie Ernst.

    March 24, 2000
