    Looks like no home games this year for the Pisgah again.

    I hate this for Pisgah. So much history in that old stadium. When i think of football in that part of the state I think about that stadium and that mill town and when that whistle blows on Fridays folks go in droves to support the Bears.

    UNC91, The level of disrespect and stereotyping you post with repeatedly is sad. You always make it a color thing. There are kids who are STUDS regardless of their race, color, where they are from, or what level ball they play. So small minded and ill informed.

    North Surry Coach Quit

    Not real familiar with North Surry. I do know East Surry and Mount Airy have been the top dogs in that area for a while. Does North Surry have any guys on staff that are interested? A lot of schools stay in house. There has to be some assistant coaches on those staffs you mentioned...

    This time last year.....

    The coaches I know would love to have spring football in NC the states south of us do. Have a 10-15 day period of full contact spring ball like the colleges do. Not sure that will ever happen with the current leadership in the NCHSAA.
