I want him to prove himself with any QB not named Tom Brady before hiring him. Mariota is a completely different QB than Brady, and I am not so certain his success with a pocket QB will transfer to a running QB.
I'd be happy with McDaniels but in looking at his #s at places where the GOAT isn't his QB, it's not good.* I'd almost rather have the Eagles OC or QB Coach. Mike Vrabel is supposedly the next big deal.
