I wasn't expecting much from Ruston

Stop being an idiot. Go back and read the post. I compared the SEC with the Sunbelt and MAC. I didn't compare Tech or the WAC to the Sunbelt. I didn't rip MTSU, and I didn't rip the Sunbelt. And I am correct, those improvements you mentioned are nothing compared to what goes on in the SEC. So...

I wasn't expecting much from Ruston

I have no problem with that. It's just weak when you are dogging out other schools for what they don't have when you are sustained by what others give you. Let me put it to you this way, when we play the more upper end BCS programs, there are never threads like this.(lsu is excluded from these...

I wasn't expecting much from Ruston

What HS "story" did I tell. One of you rocket scientists said our stadiums capacity was smaller than a Texas HS stadium. I refuted that. And the fact that you are in the SEC doesn't mean you are anything more than a pimple on the *** of Florida and LSU. You are a leech. Nothing more. Your a...

I wasn't expecting much from Ruston

Funny you say that when the entire program has benefited for years from being in the SEC while contributing very little to the SEC revenue stream. That's like LSU telling everyone how they run a self sufficient athletic dept. when the whole thing was built by the taxpayers of La. to begin with...

I wasn't expecting much from Ruston

Please I played HS ball at one of the best HS's in Texas (espn has us #1 right now) and our stadium is only 1/3 the size of Tech's. Most big 5A schools stadiums hold around 10k not over 30k. For comparisons sake MTSU's stadium, while definitely newer has almost the same capacity as Aillet. Our...

Why are we playing in RUSTON?

A&M scheduled us for a 2-1 and just backed out by paying us about $750k. We replaced it with LSU for about $600K. For a non-bcs school that's a nice haul for a weekend of football. It sucks to be in that position but we obviously don't have SEC money so it is what it is. Now normally we wouldn't...

I'm sorry, I know it has already been mentioned but "Brass Tax" is <17>ing classic!!!

What will you do if we lose to Louisiana Tech?

No starters were lost due to academics. We lost what would have been a 2nd string LB and a couple of recruits that were going to be RS. Not talking smack and saying we are going to kick the crap out of MSU or anything, just that if you beat us it will be because you are better. There is a...

What will you do if we lose to Louisiana Tech?

Actually that was a year before Rattay. I believe Jason Martin was our QB in '96 when we beat you.</p>
