With the one and done/NIL era I really don't. Back in the day you connected with these players over a four year period and watched them develop. I followed Mashburn on ever NBA team he played on because of that connection but now I honestly couldn't tell you who was one the roster a few seasons...
Mine would be the 96-97 season. That's when my UK fandom was at its peak and it would have been a 3-peat which is super rare in sports. If Derek Anderson wasn't injured I think we would have beat Arizona in the Final.

Robinson/Brea vs MM = Null
Carr vs Fields/N'Diaye = Carr
Williams vs Moreno = Null
I think Carr gives the 24-25 starters a slight edge. The bench is where 26-27 team actually has the advantage.
I think the real question is who plays the 4 spot. McBride is a good shooter but weak on defense. N'Diaye is a maybe but his thin frame will get him bumped around in the post. Kam could be your best option. he provides a stretch 4 look and is a good defender.
