Not particularly a special performance, but I saw this from Hurrdat that 3 sets of twins all started and played at the same time yesterday. 107 points combined between the 3 sets. That’s pretty cool.
Haven’t seen any predictions on here yet so I’ll kick it off.

C2 is stacked. Regions are better than before but still not perfect. It still seems like a tragedy to me that 2 of the four teams seeded 7-10 are going to miss state. It seems like any other year and they would all be top 8 seeds and favored.
Not a stretch to say 6 of those 7 will be state tournament teams and in the old system it’s quite likely only 2 make district finals. Yutan, Bergan, and Norh Bend in one sub, Freeman, TC, JB, and EMF in another sub. We’ve come a long ways.
I don’t think Bloomfield will be within 16 points of SRC, and I don’t think W-P will be within 20 of Sandy. I could see Stanton and Wausmond (love that compound btw) winning.
There was another thread on conference realignment, but I couldn’t find it so I’ll post here. It seems Freeman will be requesting membership in the Southern Nebraska Conference beginning 2027 per BOE minutes. If approved they will depart the ECNC.
I see the concern with grass and the Black Friday game, but as pointed out Nebraska isn’t sniffing a home playoff game for quite some time. Move the championships to the week after Thanksgiving and call it a day. It impacts only the 14 schools playing in the games, so they might have a few more...
PLVS vs. Westside. PLVS
Norris vs. Elkhorn North. Norris (real final will be in semis, Norris vs. Skutt)
LL vs. Ogallala. Ogallala
Freeman vs. CC. Freeman
JB vs. BR. JB
St. Mary’s vs. Wynot. St. Mary’s
Sure there is a lot more parity between D1 and D2 than A and B. Any given year a D2 could probably win D1 but why fix what’s not broken. What you’re really doing is saying small town schools don’t have the talent like A and B so let’s lump them all together and make them an afterthought. Class A...
NCN will broadcast the championship games on Friday and Saturday, as will JCC striv. KWBE 1450 and 99.5 will also have coverage of the Thursday games but they have not released which games yet.
Infrastructure and time. It takes a lot to put on a quality stream. JCC striv broadcasts the championship games on Friday and Saturday. It is quite a production and they do a great job, but that would be a huge commitment to do it all week.
