******Official UK vs TAMU Game Thread FB Edition*****

This is the best I’ve seen a UK football team look in a LONG time!

    This makes me sick...

Near the bottom in football but near the top in basketball. And football is likely because we’ve been stuck in the same spot for over decade now. Should we just throw in the towel as being the premier power in basketball and accept mediocre? You’re right that all these coaches do have crazy...

If you're wondering why Pope doesn't land recruits

Preach it brother! I think the swim or tennis scandal (whatever sport it was) played a big role in it too. I don’t think Barnhart knew what would come of it and of course wound up being nothing. He knew Pope wouldn’t care if we had to play our games outside, he’d take the job regardless. But...

    He is one weird dude.

    This makes me sick...

That may be true and if it is.. well then.. we might be in trouble. But that’s just what we don’t quite know. Did Barnhart call anybody else other than Scott Drew and Danny Hurley (not even sure if Hurley was fully offered the job-seen multiple things reported on him)? We don’t know til we ask...

    This makes me sick...

It became the Cal brand the last few years but I really believe in his prime years he bled blue. You’re always gonna have to deal with an ego with the top guys. That’s part of it and is fine as long as they’re winning big. When Cal was on his run, it was Duke that was chasing us. I know people...

    Will Stein has my support

We are 14-26 in the SEC the past five seasons. And yes I even counted the 2021 vacated season. To me that is a dumpster fire considering we had a coach the administration felt like was worth $9 million when other coaches making a whole lot less are winning national championships

    ***Cats vs Tide Game Thread***

My bad for referencing one of the two greatest football coaches of all time. You’d probably take Stoops over Saban

I love how you exclude Bear Bryant lol. Rich Brooks was a much better coach than Stoops too. I’m not old enough to remember anybody before Brooks. Stoops is the worse!

    ***Cats vs Tide Game Thread***

Well it was a bit of a fluke lol. Like I said we shouldn’t have had that second TD therefore wouldn’t have been up at halftime. As bad as Alabama was in the first half we should’ve been up by at least 2 1/2 - 3 TD’s. They couldn’t even snap the ball. But oh well, in the end that didn’t affect...

Dude get a life. I shouldn’t even respond to your ignorance. Yeah Stoops was so great that’s why Mitch FINALLY fired him. All Stoops had to do was win 5 games and Barnhart would’ve kept him. Even the AD couldn’t protect him anymore.
