    What changed with the OL?

    I believe having a competent pass game forces the defense to stay honest and opens up the run game. Once we threw the ball successfully the run game opened up. But pass protection was also really good yesterday.

    In the Derek Jeter documentary, he talked about how much he hated Roger Clemens because he used to hit him with pitches all the time. When Clemens went to the Yankees, Jeter realized he was just ferociously competitive and a loyal teammate, and respected him a ton.

    Portal Targets

    This is a really good cautionary tale for ANY portal player- you see those stats for a player on a big ten team- that looks pretty solid, he must be a solid piece. If you watched all season you know he disappeared at times, etc. any portal player is a wildcard in that regard.

    Exactly, 21-23 is the problem. There was an air pocket in our recruiting and we have been trying to make wholesale changes to the roster ever since, failing each year.
