Fran got a few guys like that but not as many as I thought he would. Cook, Toussaint, White, Cartwright, May. Those are the only strong high flyers I remember from Fran era.

Looking at this list I put more of the blame on this for BF. I know it was KF decision to promote him before he was ready, and that was a mistake but under Lester we have been competitive in every game against a top 25 minus the OSU game last year.
I think getting Mark was the right move for this year’s team to move them forward from last season, but I hope next year we can get some playmakers around the QB on D and WR. This team is good, but needs playmakers to jump to the next level.
