Any time something was incorrect or taking a crazy amount of time all we ever got was excuses and the contractor just being annoyed when we would ask him anything. He also would not respond to our messages for more than a week at a time. There is an endless amount of negative I could share with you, but I’ll stop there. Like I said, wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.They subcontract everything out and there were times no one would even be working at the house for 8 weeks at a time. Supplies would be dropped off and our contractor wouldn’t even know they were there until we said something about it days later. They had to repaint the interior of our home 3 times because they kept using flat paint instead of the satin we paid extra for.Heritage Homes. I could go on for days, but it was just a big disorganized mess. Closed on our construction loan Oct of 2021 and then didn’t close on our mortgage until Dec of 2022. Our contractor assigned to us was the biggest problem. He works out of the Pensacola office primarily, but due to the location of our home they assigned him to our project so you most likely wouldn’t have to deal with him.
Hey BSAU. Who was the Mobile area home builder you had a bad experience with. My wife and I live in Mobile. We have had the building conversation. Would live to know who to stay away from?
