I’ve heard all year that he’s the youngest player in college basketball! It’s one year removed from high school and 19 years old. Is it 19 before the drift or turn 19 in the year of the drift? When does he turn 19? I thought I heard Cal say he just turned 18 not too long ago. Just curious!
Are linked together with certain teams because of location? Seems we always have a hand full of the same teams. In our bracket every year. West Virginia, North Carolina, Duke, Indiana and Louisville (when they make the it) Wisconsin, Wichita St.
I understand not pushing him to play if he’s not 100% and taking the chance of injuring it again. But he came here on scholarship to play basketball. So if he’s cleared to play and doesn’t want to. Then why does he get to keep his scholarship? The school is paying for his education to play...
I think it comes down to 3 point shooting and rebounding. Doesn't matter who does it. If we don't hit 3's they will pack it in on us. We can't afford to give up a bunch offensive rebounds. Take care of those two. The rest will take care of itself.
I'm not saying he should play 10 or 15 minutes. But could give a couple minutes for a breather. Or for foul trouble. I would bet he could hold his on, on defense. I just don't see why you have a kid so athletic and not try to get him involved.
