    It was maybe the weakest field I can remember in recent memory. If it was possible to not give it to anyone this year I would’ve done that. There was no player that made you say “wow.” Connor Shaw was better than Pavia.

    Nah. Come on. Certainly don’t blame Beamer for not resigning. Not a single competitor at any level would just give up like that. And I truthfully don’t think he’s a money grabber. It’s the upper administration that is giving him their full support that needs to be feeling the heat.
