Disagree with the timing of this guy's forecast. Models seem to advertise the rain starting out in the south and west parts of the state during the morning and early afternoon hours -- then spreading north and east throughout the late afternoon and evening. Think we'll be really lucky to stay...
Not sure where you're getting that info. NWS says 20% w/92 for a high. Either way, you can't rely on a forecast 6 days out. Especially in the late summer where there is a chance of rain pretty much every afternoon.
I'll give you 3 scenarios that could play out. Share which bowl MSU would go to given the situation. Bonus points if you name the opponent.
1. Least Likely Scenario:
MSU, UT, and UF (yes..I know) WIN OUT--putting each team at 6-6. 12 bowl eligible SEC teams.
2. Very Possible Scenario:
MSU...
LSU @ MSU = great @ below avg. (decent rivalry)
Ark @ UF = below avg. @ TBD but likely a bit better than average (some rivalry)
Ole Miss @ Auburn = good @ average (some rivalry)
UGA @ UT = great @ below avg. (good rivalry)
UK @ USC = bad @ good (not much of rivalry)

It was good to see Beachy have a few solid innings today. This team could be scary good by the time October rolls around. Just need BJ to actually hit, and need Minor or some other starter to become dominant.

How much (if any) of the lower bowl will actually be available for seating in 2013? I see that there is a seemingly completed section that's maybe 10-12 rows deep, and then there is the framework for about 1/4th of the much larger section starting at the NW...
