We have overachieved this year given the overall talent on the roster. Ben has done a great job. We have a great PG, so this is the best shot Iowa has had at a sweet 16 in a long time. We are going to fight and be a tough out.
We have some quality depth in our OL room now, but Dunker and Stephens were big maulers. They will not be easily replaced. Hopefully our pass game will be more effective so we don’t have a loaded box all year.

I agree about VanderZee and DJ, but the WR room has major depth issues currently for next year. TE room will be loaded(coaches high on Meyer too). Need multiple WRs from portal. Kasper definitely worth a look. He may be a good target as demand for him may not be very high.
Manske is young, a big time talent, and an instate kid. The QB job is wide open next year. It would be foolish not to reach out to him to gauge interest.
They will certainly attract blue chippers, but that doesn’t make them a good college QB yet. Very few come in ready to play at a high level. Brecht is experienced and a very good college QB.
He graduated and has 2 years of eligibility left. He was 2-0 as a starter and wants to go play. Hope he lands in a good spot to play. I wish him luck. I completely understand him entering the portal and imagine our coaches will do everything to help him find a place.
