    If Tavion Banks returns in 2026-27, we would have 1 Open Roster Spot (14 players are officially signed)

    Banks is a 6’7 athlete that can guard the 1-4 positions. He is an unselfish player that is a dog. We have no chance at beating FL in the tournament without him. He is a great complimentary player and a winner. He should get a solid check somewhere. I wish he was coming back.

    Good for Banks. He was a huge part of our success last year. He is going to get a nice paycheck from someone, and does a lot of things that help teams win.

    He wasn’t a sleeper within the program. Nick Jackson said he was the best athlete in the LB room.

    Ben is Responsible for Lasy 2 Losses

    We have overachieved this year given the overall talent on the roster. Ben has done a great job. We have a great PG, so this is the best shot Iowa has had at a sweet 16 in a long time. We are going to fight and be a tough out.

    We have some quality depth in our OL room now, but Dunker and Stephens were big maulers. They will not be easily replaced. Hopefully our pass game will be more effective so we don’t have a loaded box all year.

    This team is fine. We have a great PG and have as good a shot at getting to a sweet sixteen as any team in quite some time. The Big Ten is loaded. There will be bumps along the way.

    He is sneaky athletic. A good offensive player, but has been really good defensively. He moves his feet well for his length.

    I agree about VanderZee and DJ, but the WR room has major depth issues currently for next year. TE room will be loaded(coaches high on Meyer too). Need multiple WRs from portal. Kasper definitely worth a look. He may be a good target as demand for him may not be very high.

    Manske is young, a big time talent, and an instate kid. The QB job is wide open next year. It would be foolish not to reach out to him to gauge interest.
