    Next Years Lineup

    Sometime previously on this website, someone with knowledge of the wrestlers in the program (and those on the way), made up a chart by year & by weight of what the team the Cowboys will have in the near future. Would that someone in the know, consider putting up a similar chart as of the moment...

    Next Years Lineup

    With the excellent recruiting classes and portal additions, the day is soon coming when the Cowboys have several superior wrestlers at the same weight class. Will they all stay in Stillwater or go to lesser programs in order to get on the mat?

    Not being as familiar with OSU wrestling members, I don't know to whom KD refers. First thought that came to mind was Kyle Dake but "snowflake" surely isn't right. So please just give their real name.

    I would believe that a heavyweight transfer would have 2 years to compete for the Cowboys. Next year, while Ross is a HS senior & the following year while Ross redshirts (& grows).

    Next Years Lineup

    Many are counting on true freshmen (in the upper weights, no less). Most of those need to redshirt or face too many seasoned, mature wrestlers to be consistently successful. I hope the portal provides temporary help in order for the young guys to be prepared down the line.

    Jumping ahead to the 2024-2025 Cowboy wrestling season, the team will be losing much of this years squad. We have Seniors at 157, 165, 174, 184, 197 & 285. OSU does not have replacements at many of these weights and would probably not be very successful using incoming Freshmen in the lineup...

    I can't keep track of all the wrestlers that have given a pledge to the Cowboys. Would someone in the know construct a list of those coming next year & the year after that? Are there any young commits beyond the next two years? Thanks

    I will state it again: I hope that David Taylor redshirts all that have a RS available to enable for a GREAT season next year. There are very capable wrestlers that would still make for a good season this year.
