    Starmount @ MA Round 2 2024

    I don’t think this game is close this time around. I think Mount Airy wins by 3 TD’s. I think Starmount had their chance the first time around, but if they couldn’t run against MA then, I don’t know how they are going to now.

    It would be nice to see East Surry get some revenge and knock off West Stokes. I don’t know if they can though, a Lowman coached team in the playoffs is a very hard team to beat.

    He might go DII, but will end up DIII like his brother did. He does seem more athletic than his brother so maybe he can find a way to make it at that level. Still not the level I would consider highly recruited.

    I am hoping that West Stokes and East Surry meet again in the playoffs. There were very few people that left the first game thinking West Stokes was the actual better team between the two.

    How stupid is our government? They apparently have delivered on emergency cell service to anyone no matter who your carrier is. The problem? You have to turn your phone off in order to get it. So how do the people that have been trapped for days with no power still have power for their phones...

    The Gosnell kids were special athletes, then throw in Landon Stevens at WR and it was almost unfair. I don’t think Boaz has gotten any PT at WCU either. I never thought he could QB at that level, always thought he would have been a great DII QB if that was the position he wanted to play.

    WSFCS has lots of issues. I never understood the addition of both Walkertown and Atkins, without closing the doors of Carver. The good ole days of Tabor, West Forsyth, and Reynolds being power houses in athletics (and Carver too at times) has passed.

    Reagan has been picking off kids that should be at West Forsyth or other schools for years. Behind East Forsyth, Reagan is right there in the transfer world.

    When is the last time Surry Central was good? With the way East Surry & Mount Airy have been so dominant and North Surry really taking strides in the right direction, when will Surry Central be able to do that? Do they just not have solid male athletes in the school?
