    I wouldn’t doubt that addidas is paying for some of this stuff. It’s a business decision for all parties involved.. including the coach. Players come to play for team loaded for exposure and who knows what else… VHSL is to blame. Wonder if any schools are fighting this?

    So in your opinion.. it’s fair if one team from region A gets all 3 officials who have seen that team play multiple times and is from that area? The ACC tournament comparison doesn’t apply here because all the teams are in the ACC. Here you have 4 regions, refs only call in their association...

    Maybe once you get to Richmond, but it should be the same for all state games where two different regions are involved.
