That is correct, what matters is the end result no matter how you got there. I also thought the same way in terms of what I was using, but figured if I wanted to get started without a lot of failure then the easier the better, and if I really like it then later on I could get into more advanced...- Bag It....Tag It

I've only been smoking for a couple of years, but I started with an electric smoker (Masterbuilt) which has made it much easier to jump into. The only thing I still haven't done is get a small butane torch to be able to light the pellets in the tray accessory I bought, and that way I don't have...- Bag It....Tag It
