    Why not play the guys who you may need beyond this season? I'd rather develop Diallo and Doorson over a rental player who's still available for some reason this late in the ball game. Maybe after the Francis visit we hear about a 5th year. I don't know.

    Most of the graduate transfers that are available averaged fewer than 4-5 points per game in small conferences. Why bother? Batie and Dadika can't shoulder the load? There is literally no one left in 5th year market to choose from.

    It'll most likely come down to coaching and luck. Our last few transfers have had HS accolades. Kerwin Okoro Wally Judge Bishop Daniels You take a risk because we can't afford not to. The Big Ten is adding four stars and bigger name transfers and we need talent no matter how flawed.

    Wouldn't worry too much about Thompson. He's got Kansas, Arizona, UConn, Providence and Syracuse recruiting him. Just too much firepower to overcome.
