PREVIEW: Trio of past/present Hawkeyes set for Final X wrestle-offs on Friday

Bo wanted to come train at Iowa like Jax Forrest did at Oklahoma State. At the time, the RTC training rules were such that we couldn't bring in recruits to train that lived more than 250 miles away. Although this was a USA wrestling rule, universities had to abide by it via their compliance...

It’s still a long season, enjoy your lucky win

Michigan will be lucky to get out of the season with 4 losses (should be 5). You had your simulated National Title celebration against Western Michigan...let us have ours.

    Iowa St. Tampering Violations

I also think you have to look at when in this f’ed up timeline did these infractions occur before some start yelling “What about Bob (or Ira)?” At one point IIRC a few years back, anybody not on staff could contact recruits and even rostered athletes as long as there wasn’t collusion between the...

    Iowa St. Tampering Violations

It was more than that. It was also the reason Dresser went to a different position to try and head the coming NCAA penalties off at the pass. Sounds like Perry was their "Skunkworks" guy.

NEWS: 2027 pledge Sonny Amato announces decommitment

I was watching Hard Knocks with the Seahawks last night. Was kind of amazed at the end when they brought in a Terrion Arnold who had just been cut by Detroit because he has been charged with multiple counts of armed robbery and kidnapping. Arnold was Detroit's 1st round pick in 2024 but has been...

NEWS: 2027 pledge Sonny Amato announces decommitment

Tom couldn’t have Bo in. That was the RTC ruleset at the time and Iowa compliance said no bueno. It changed and now he can have guys come in to train. As far as I know, almost all the recruits have been here.

The U.S. isn't exactly setting it on fire over there but found an interesting Hawk connection. Jovanni Tovar just won it at 55KG for Columbia. He is from Miami though and is coached by his Dad but also trains at Mocco and Lugo's clubs. He teched the USA Rep (Karenbauer) 10-0 in the first period.

Jordan Williams announces he’s (officially) back - even though he never really left

Would have been better if they were making it rain but I give it a 7 on the funny scale. People need to relax.
