    2018 Cary Grove vs Nile Notre Dame Great atmosphere, two great teams slugging it out. Jump pass interception and then a great drive from Cg to get to the finals.

    I think you need to rename this thread " The Greatest Team of the Last 10 years in 8A." I think that CG was the best team in 2021 and possibly 2018. and some ESL teams would need to be in the conversations.

    Bel North 17, CG 10 FINAL!

    BN’s Fumble return for the TD in the 1st Q was a BIG deal 14 point swing and gave them momentum. CG not getting anything gout if their 3rd Q drive was really the nail in the coffin,lf the FG doesn’t hit the upright, maybe it’s a different ending. BN played very well and deserved to win.

    Burlington Central 10 Cary-Grove 7

    Both local papers had picked Burlington. CG did not bring back a lot from last year, and their best player was only used on Defense against PR and didn't play at all against BC. CG will improve every week and we will see what they look like at the end of the season.
