    Wild fires in the U.K. today. Highs above 100 F.

    We traveled through London Monday on our walk back from the Open. I could see transformers popping off in the distance and at one point there were two on fire. Their system is not set up to handle the heat. Looks like a great opportunity for some electrical grid upgrades and A/C sales!

    AKB, My girlfriend and I are leaving Sunday for St. Andrews and the British Open. We have tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday and can't wait to get there! We will be playing a round of golf Tuesday at Kingsbarns. Is there anything we absolutely must see or do in the surrounding area?

    OT: Bridge collapse in Pittsburgh

    The fact that traffic was allowed to transit that bridge is scary. I drove daily over the worst rated bridge in PA, from Cementon to Northampton. I thought that was ugly underneath. This picture makes that look good.
