    Willie just said both Bachmanns are going up a weight this year, Freddy 144 and Joey 175. With Freddy going to 144 maybe Tom just thought they had too much money tied up in those middle weights and needed to cut one loose.

    Mineo likes to mess with Iowa fans for sure, but he doesn’t strike me as a guy that just makes stuff up. Amato is a New Jersey guy and I’d be surprised if he wasn’t his source for this information. If you don’t believe it simply because it’s mineo you have your head in the sand.

    Not very PSUish. PSU keeps guys like this as depth on their roster and doesn’t burn bridges over dumb stuff. They don’t call them out of the blue to tell them there’s no longer a spot for them.

    If Williams goes 149 then I don't see him staying. Bumping Ryder to 157 doesn't feel worth it if 149 is his best weight. I also heard there were some issues with grades, so he may not have a ton of transfer options.

    Think we can expect any more entries? Regan was at the US Open, but Amato wasn't What are the chances either guy registers. I haven't been following along with the Puerto Rico world team, did the Bachmanns make it, or have those not been decided yet?

    I see Paul Kenny signed up for the U20 WTT at 57kg. He was at the US Open at 61kg. I wonder why the change in class. Just a better path for him, or too small to sustain 61kg at this point?
