    Points allowed per possession or points allowed per 100 possessions would be a better metric to look at. Points allowed per game is a lazy statistic because pace of play isn’t taken into consideration. I can guarantee that Pope doesn’t look at points per game at all to help determine how well...

    UK is a bit limited defensively. If they’re gonna rain 3’s, then Otega and Butler need to see fewer minutes…but tough to do since they are the squads best perimeter defenders. We will see what Pope changes, if anything, in the second half.

    I know Pope wants everyone to be ultra confident, but Butler and Garrison should not have a green light from deep. In Butler’s case, if he hasn’t been at least a decent to good perimeter shooter in four years of college hoops, it’s not gonna happen this year. Im skeptical of Oweh as well...
