Lots of good advice. I'll add getting your guitar set up and the strings lowered and also using lighter gauge strings. It will help build the muscle and muscle memory. You can always go up in gauge.

My son got waitlisted at SAS and Business. Got into SEBS. Over a 4.0 GPA and good SATS. Just ridiculously competitive and so many applications. This has been a very stressful experience.
My son used the company in Bell Works. I can't remember the name. But we were happy with them. A private college prep person helped with applications and essays.
