Went cheap and simple this week. Had a bunch of Jalapenos, so I cut them in half, cooked them at 300 degrees for 15 minutes and then covered them in cheddar.
Shrimp and Andouille Gumbo. Made the stock out of veggies and shrimp shells. Gonna make the Roux tomorrow morning around 9, then finish the Gumbo by 12 noon.
UPDATE- got it finished by 11:00 a.m. Combination of 2-3 recipes on the internet, my wife watchin a Youtube video, and me substituting...
