    Duke/Michigan State

    If that were the case, they’d have better guards. I think they’ve really been missing a dynamic playmaker in recent years. Jeremy Roach and Tyrese Proctor never scared anybody. But they have certainly had an awesome array of forwards and bigs. Tatum, Zion, Barrett, Banchero, Flagg, Boozer. Etc.

    Could be. They’re not dominating but they are executing at winning time and play great defense. 10-0 with wins over Kansas, Arkansas, Michigan State, Texas and Florida. That’s impressive. And they still have Texas Tech and a February matchup with Michigan. Scheyer is playing everybody.

    There is some truth to this. Kentucky has done pretty well when arrogant and slick New York Italians have helmed the ship. It’s a major and unique head coaching job and it requires a stern ego exploding with confidence to helm it. Heck you need that alone just to handle the fanbase.
