    I respectfully disagree. If 'variance' is a factor, one would assume it is somewhat random, thus PSU would win approximately one half of the close games. PSU won none of these. To not include 'coaching' has an explanatory variable is unwise.

    How many games has Rhodes lost in the last 2 minutes of a close game. Too many. He is an awful coach in the closing minutes of a game. Awful.
