    ACC is a Joke

It doesn't really matter how good or bad your conference is. You only recruit for your team, not the conference. So just play the schedule you are given, win and you get into the playoffs to prove your worth.

    ACC is a Joke

Funny that when ACC teams beat each other its because the conference sucks, but when the SEC teams beat each other, its because the conference is stacked

    After more thinking....

If he is terminated this season, then the replacement will be the 4th or 5th pick at best...behind LSU, Penn St, Florida, Auburn and possibly FSU, Ark, and Ole Miss. However, I would give the keys to Shawn Elliott. I think he should have been hired last time.

    Muschamp never

Muschamp lost 5 in a row, just not in the same season - Last 3 in 2019 + the first 2 in 2020

The Sad Reality of the New Playoff in College Football

Not sure what is so inconsistent. The selection process is clear. The top 5 Conference Champs get in + ND (if ranked in the top 12). That leaves 6 at-large bids to choose from Texas, Penn St, Ohio St, UT, Indiana, SMU, Bama, UM, SC, Ole Miss. You dont get an auto bid for beating Clemson...

    The ultimate CFP solution

The only problem is you cant tell me Boise, BYU, Utah are not worthy of a chance in the playoff but Vandy, Duke , WF are

Why is there still a National Letter of Intent?

The NLI now gives other schools the baseline NIL price they need to exceed to get that player

Being in the ACC was the only thing that got Clemson into the Playoff. So why is it still suing to leave?

Because SEC / Big 10 make $20M more in TV revenue a year. Compound that over several years and the gap will not be able to overcome.

The SOS 2-Step and its' Implications

Byrne is delusional....Their OOC schedule was Mercer, W Ky, S Florida, and Wisconsin. They got boat raced by a terrible OK and Vandy. They should be kept out of the 2025 CFP for the way they lost to Vandy. The top 5 conference champs and ND get auto bids, so the job of the job of the...

Miami, Indiana, Boise State, and SMU

I think the problem for most fans is they blur the lines between automatic bids and at large bids. We know the top 5 conference champs get in period...regardless of record, wins vs T25, bad losses, etc. Its simple, want a sure bid in the CFP, win the conference. Some conferences are easier...

Miami, Indiana, Boise State, and SMU

Agreed, however the only reason I like it is because it means ND will never have a bye as long as they are not in a conference.

    Stop playing Clemmons.

except that was a direct result of teams ranked ahead of them losing

    I hope y'all are ready

I wouldn't say they got rolled. It was a pretty even game IMO. Sellers was the difference 100% but he wasn't a reckoning force until the 4th quarter. He was the leading rusher with 166 yards, with 111yds coming in the 4th quarter. Without him, I don't think SC wins.

Liberty would’ve made the 12 team playoff

Qualifications for the playoff were changed as a result of the conference realignment. No conference has an auto bid and conf must have a min of 8 teams. Only the top 5 conference champs get in plus the 7 highest ranked get in, so Oklahoma would have been in over Liberty. For Example, look at...
