    Okay, but by that logic it would also be pointless to wrestle two more matches at the Journeyman, which Haines did. Unless the injury got worse this past week (i.e., after the Journeyman).

    This^^. I agree that the penalties are harsh, but Iowa and Iowa State were not "targeted". If Terry Brands doesn't understand this, he needs to.

    Well, that sucks. It's unclear what "serious" means, as Mineo indicates Nageo could be back later this season. Here's hoping Nageo is fully recovered by January 2024; that would be a good outcome at this point.
