    Greatest Poster in WR History

Euro, thanks for the mention.. I’m still lurking around and occasionally post. I remember well game days in the chat room with you years ago with HOK for good luck when the Cats needed a big play. As LathamLad observed, this board and its predecessors have brought much camaraderie and great...

    2026 NUSB Thread

No idea about injuries or anything else, but there was a very definite drop off. Goose Goodwin is the very highly touted incoming first year pitcher. We have two other incoming first year pitchers as well. Go Cats!

    2026 NUSB Thread

Cats hopefully have pitching help on the way as next year’s class includes 3 pitchers, including Goose Goodwin, ranked #3 overall player by Softball America. No question we were short on pitching this year. Mason was a very pleasant surprise. Hopefully she will continue to improve, and if...

Not sure how many starters are transfers, but Cignetti has significantly made over his roster the last two years. Thirty-one transfers during 2024, and over twenty last year. Attached is a pretty good article describing what he’s done and what he looks for in the portal. Go Cats...

    Lauren Boyd

Lauren has really stepped up over the last several weeks. While earlier in the year I thought she was behind Ashley Miller in the panoply of our recent aces, based upon her recent performances (as well as the fact that Ashley struggled at the end of last season because of fatigue, injury or...

    Tough day on the Diamonds

Unforetunately, Cats’ Softball gets beat today 3-0 to give Nebraska the series sweep. This snaps the Cats streak of winning consecutive B1G series at a little over 20. Jordy Bahl led the Huskers to the victory, giving up only 2 hits. Olshin hit the nail on the head, we pretty well know what...

Game ends in 10-10 tie as darkness falls. Cats came back from 8-1 deficit to tie game. Emma Blea throws three scoreless innings to keep Cats hopes alive. That bodes well for the future. Go Cats!

    Presason Softball Poll

No question that pitching is the key. We’ve gotten used to having an ace of the mound the last five seasons. Hope we get one this year. Go Cats!
