Yes that was awful. One of my NU Grad sons and several grandchildren were in the Lake Tahoe area skiing that day. Until we made phone connection, it was fearing the worst and hoping for the best.

On a peripheral point, does anyone else sense that the time between the playoff games and the final game should be shortened to one week rather than two? The only plus I see is that it does extend the college football season one week longer.

I know it doesn't work that way, but we do have the tie breaker with regard to having won against Minnesota so by rights we should be placed above them in the bowl picking order getting us to Phoenix rather than Detroit.
