Offense purposely vanilla tonight per Pope

You can’t work at everything. Prioritizing defense is smart. We are out of shape but is early. spacing and offense would is all about schematics. I would not show everything in the first exhibition game. i don’t think MP lied. It makes perfectly sense what he said.

    First Takes

Best player MM #22. Best improved from last year MM . Those two are our best to players . if this teams stays healthy we can probably finish top 4 in SEC, after Florida, TX , and Arkansas. If either of our MM s gets injured our season is over. We are too light at center position. not sure...

    Expectations if we land Momcilovic?

Please explain , who are “ folks nationally”? Other fans, coaches, players, agents, media?

    Moreno's leverage...

We seem to forget how bad MM conditioning and stamina is And how he cannot shoot from 3 and how he his rebounding is done with one hand . the abive the rim game not great either. His quality is passing and on the ground around the rim player. If he would played 5 on 5 he would just exposed...

Pope’s refusal to hire a GM should be reversed by the new AD immediately

I would say first act of new AD should be to fire this incompetent clown.

    Moreno Interview

By the way 2015 team had at center. #0 Marcus Lee – Sophomore | 6'9" #12 Karl-Anthony Towns – Freshman | 6'11" #15 Willie Cauley-Stein – Junior | 7'0" #44 Dakari Johnson – Sophomore | 7'0" i am not saying to get 4 guys like that but i would like to have some depth and quality. With MM and K...

    Moreno Interview

I am just realistic. If you don’t see that this roster even with Moreno and Momcilovic is not deep enough and doesn’t have quality enough to be a championship team, that is your problem. Since you brought up 2015 , last time UK was in a final four, that was a very deep team. but even there...

    Moreno Interview

let me spell it out for you: Would Momcilovic play 40 minutes ? How about Moreno, would he play 40? Based on how MP plays guys , I am expecting between 15-20 minutes to be covered by the subs. Who are subs ? Can Kw cover at high level, all season 15-20 min? How about Franck Kepnang , can he...

    Possible Moreno replacement

Did Uk ever had a rusky player? Maybe MP can break another record. i mean Cal tried turkey, cangaroo and wood choppers and even Croatians so why not let’s go rusky?

    Moreno Interview

Before injury he was a back up that played limited minutes, had couple great games, and rest was mediocre especially in defense and driving to the basket. Defending and be able to drive to the basket are mandatory requirements for the small forward on a team that wants to chase number 9. He go...

BB: Michael Ruzic -Moreno replacement option

Less physical than Big Z or his brother. Better wider base than BiG Z when shots the ball. Can he play defense?
