    That seems like a nit to pick in this whole saga. I've got zero doubt the staff was still interested in Angelo when AJ left. That was a long time ago and a lot has happened since then (including a new staff at OSU).

    Yeah, he made the senior-level team. That is what I mean. Obviously, he doesn't get to go to the Senior Worlds, taking third, but he is on the US team.

    Bad and hard are two different things no? Sounds like the cut was really hard, but how bad could it be, considering Vega was a true freshman national champion who was never taken down? Not once did I watch Vega this year and think man - that looks like a kid who is struggling with the cut...

    I've been one of the biggest KD skeptics on this board but if got another year he might start the year ranked No. 1. He would for sure be in the top 3. If KD somehow got another year (which I doubt) it would be a massive, massive boost for OSU wrestling.

    Nobody entered the portal I would put over Ross. I can't see KD getting another year. If not Ross it would probably have to be someone internally bulking up.

    I could 100% see SVN beating Vega. I don't think it is a lock by any means. I think the confidence comes from Vegas had a better year at a much, much harder weight.

    Nothing is shocking in the portal world but if you've watched any Stilly Boys videos post NCAAs Dee looks to be a massive part of the team and very much locked it.

    It is a zero sum game. It is nice that you will support both, but every dollar the AD spends on women's wrestling will be a dollar that doesn't go to another sport. Incredibly hard times and some difficult decisions are coming for athletic departments everywhere. I have no idea how OSU is going...

    It would be really cool for OSU to add women's wrestling. It would be beyond dumb at this point of college athletics to do it though and I would have serious concerns about Chad if he entertained the notion.
