Johnny White - he was extremely tough to bring down and he played his best in the big games. He and Butler in the Asheville backfield from 03-05 was special to watch. The injury bug shortened his time in the NFL.
So even though Ledford finished 4th, they’ll still be seeded higher than Oak Grove and CD? I thought you couldn’t be seeded higher than someone you finished behind in your own conference, or is that not a thing anymore?
Or in Asheville... Asheville pulled the upset at Crest in the 3rd rd, then laid a huge egg the next week at home against Ashbrook. Asheville should’ve won by 3-4 TD’s. The refs kept Ashbrook in it, and then turnovers and missed tackles in the last 2-3 min squandered the lead.

Still makes you want to throw up thinking about the 2014 game with them. So many chances to win, and the refs didn't help. Could probably say the same when Reynolds played them last year.
Reynolds just executed well in all phases and Erwin gave up in the second half. The Reynolds/Asheville killers come to town next week, will be interesting.

I've never understood Bamatide's obsession with Kieffer. He is a solid coach no doubt, but Laws is a great coach and there is no way you can say that Kieffer is clearly the better coach. Talk to any head coach around here who has gone head-to-head with Kieffer and they would tell you he is a...
I hope Tuscola and Pisgah make a run in the playoffs I just think Reynolds is the best team in the mountains after seeing all three teams. I give Pisgah credit for beating us this year but we are a totally different team now than we were in the non-conference.
