How far into Friday's round does reality set in for CBS..

I guess my point is this (& i haven't illustrated this correctly) Tiger (whom I love to watch) was not ever going to be the guy blistering a gorgeous drive down every hole, then hit an easy 2nd into a hole, finished up with a nice, easy putt for the birdie. Tiger was unbelievably great. He...

How far into Friday's round does reality set in for CBS..

Never said Tiger wasn't good. You people are reading what you want to see. My point was, is and always will be, that to win majors late in your career, you have to be great at putting all drives straight down the fairway. That was never Tiger's forte. Yes, his short game WAS ALWAYS fantastic...

Then, thank you for missing the entire point. And for letting us all read your lack of understanding what a point is. But, your post was really cute.

How far into Friday's round does reality set in for CBS..

I believe I said that... "It may be 30 yards off the fairway, but it was also in a place where he could hit an unbelievable shot for his 2nd and hit a super putt" Early on, Tiger could outdrive 99% of the field, then he could also outplay them in the short game and the putting. He hit something...

How far into Friday's round does reality set in for CBS..

The problem for Tiger (to me) is that he never was a 'great golfer'. And, I am not meaning to slight him at all. He was UNREAL. But, he made his hay off of blistering a drive off the tee. It may be 30 yards off the fairway, but it was also in a place where he could hit an unbelievable shot for...

Does anyone else check on Jim Shute every once in a while?

    You just did.

To each his own. You believe him, I don't. It's your board. But it wasn't that hard to figure out who was being discussed. He loves doing what he does. That is why he is here. Again, I find ZERO pleasure being on an OM board. And I find far less pleasure in anyone that justifies why they...

Atta boy Jack Nicklaus. Old fella still has it

Looked it up today. Was discussing with a younger guy at work. People just do not realize how great Jack actually was. Tiger has 38 top 10 finishes in the Majors in his career. 14 wins, 38 top 10s. Jack has 71 and 18 wins. And the young guy at work tried to say 'oh, well, Jack played for a lot...

OP4 plays some of y'all like a fiddle. This is a perfect example of how passive aggressive he is. It's all just an act that he puts on for you. I do not know him and I think this helps me to see him as he is. There is no way someone that is as active on this page as he is doesn't know EXACTLY...

How far into Friday's round does reality set in for CBS..

Tiger's problem is that Tiger good isn't good enough to win anymore He is playing decent today. Pretty good for him, actually in the past couple of years. And he is still 8 shots back of the leader that is 21 (+/-). It will take a perfect scenario for him to actually win another major (i.e...

I don't buy it. Sorry. You are here every day. There is NO WAY you missed the discussions on this person. IF I am wrong, I don't care. That's the beauty of this board, isn't it? I don't have to care, do I?

OT: Anyone pick up a BIS or Finance degree from State?

You apparently use it in your field and that's great. I am telling the person that asked the original question that through my 20 years, in 5 different fields, working for 6 different companies, there has not been a single company that used your criteria. We can agree to disagree on this. I...

It's passive aggressive s*** like this that cause no one to like your existence "I've seen that name here before" You just try too hard. DFWLandShark was made fun of far and wide in the landscape of recruiting/football

Oh, he is definitely real. He is not nearly intelligent enough to do all of that stuff in order to try to explain away his insanity. He really is just weird and psycho-ish. He makes Swindoll look tame.

@DFWLandShark on twitter He is the stalker of recruits. He has slowed on that front but has yet to figure out how to not be old creepy guy.
