There is now a tangible disadvantage to JMI

Excuses for what? Obviously not for Pope, since I clearly said it’s not a reason for his failures. And have proceeded to bash him. So answer the question…excuses for what?

That’s exactly my understanding. One or the other

Go find some new deals instead of wasting your JMI paycheck posting on RR

It’s a question not an accusation. I’m adkiwhat do you like about it? Or is your answer that you don’t like it? And I don’t live in Kentucky so I can’t vote for Matt Jones. Nor do I listen to KSR. And I still hate Duke. Or did you mean the Dukes? Because I’m actually ok with James Madison

For comparison Average time at a job (age 25-50) - 2.5 years Average time before a divorce in US - 7-8 years Average stadium naming rights for top 4 leagues-13.3 years Average actual length of a 30 year mortgage 10-12 years (before selling, refinancing, or foreclosure) NCAA...

Pope is really bad but he can’t be THIS bad. JMI

If nothing else, the length of time is Ridiculous. On a deal that long, there is no win-win. one side wins the lottery and the other gets hosed.

Yep! And by the way that should be an assistant flying comercially to check someone like that out. And if he’s a star, then the HC gets involved. I mean no one had even heard of him.

I asked you before but I’m asking again. WHAT do you like about the deal? I’m asking seriously… new knowledge is the only way I know how to cure the stupidity of which I’m being accused.

    New Athletic Director

Any thoughts on if that’s a good thing?

    New Athletic Director

I know the “wish list” conversation happens every couple days regarding a new head coach, but does anyone have a potential AD wish list? Not just qualities but names? I’m clueless and would love some input. It’s SUCH an important decision for the future of the program.

Pope is really bad but he can’t be THIS bad. JMI

We have seen Pope recruit much better than this. I’m not saying he was incredible, but he had a 5 star and high 4 star last year. We saw him fly to LA and lock up Butler in 24 hours. My point is, he has gone from hitting some doubles to striking out every time. That said, I think it’s 95%+...

Yes, you’re exactly right. I didn’t go into that much detail but all the plugs for Amazon, products sold on Amazon, etc is how it gets to the 40 million (potentially). That is a HUGE factor Yahoo Sports: “Duke players will presumably pitch for Amazon, and perhaps for, say, Apple, Starlink, and...

There is now a tangible disadvantage to JMI

Serious question…I’ve stated pretty clearly why I think it’s a bad deal. Why do you think it’s a good deal? Instead of just calling me stupid and a Duke lover, I’d really like to know what you think

There is now a tangible disadvantage to JMI

And yes, they had to collaborate with ESPN, as would UK. I’m assuming ESPN would be open to the same deal for UK. BUT, Amazon would absolutely need to work with JMI for any use of the logo, names of players, the name of the university etc. Amazon would not waste their time doing that. Do you...
