    Momcilovic vs not

But KD averaged over 11 boards per game at Texas :ROFLMAO:

    Pope and Developing Bigs

Good point. Some of that has to fall on Pope, but I also give him credit for keeping the team fighting for the most part. Other teams/coaches in a similar situation might have come completely off the tracks.

    Pope and Developing Bigs

Agreed! I’d also add that it looks like he’ll have five players in the league within two seasons, which isn’t bad at all. Kobe, Amari, MM (hope he stays of course), JQ, and possibly Otega.

    A Pro Pope Post

I have to say, it was refreshing watching Zoom mic’d up during one of Washington’s practices. The kid’s got a good head on his shoulders and real leadership qualities.

    2 minutes of perspective

I love teams like the Pelphrey, Feldhaus, Farmer, and Woods squad, but they also had a Mashburn. The problem nowadays is that the top teams might as well be pro teams, so the chances of putting together a group of less athletic guys with heart and having them succeed (less than 10 losses, elite...

A question to the UK fans that are remaining calm

I completely get the frustrations as well. I’m not out just yet, but I might be done with Pope after this season if we don’t see some progress. Still, I’ll give him credit where it’s due. That huddle at the end of the dUKe game where he told the team exactly what CF was going to do and he was...

    Stokes announcing at 6:30 EST

It all comes down to who he prefers catching lobs from lol. Personally, I’d take our backcourt over Kinney and Blyden, but that’s just me.

The ONLY Way Pope Saves This Upcoming Season Is...

That's basically where I am also. I don't quite think the sky is falling, especially after looking at many of the rosters outside the top 8-10 teams and seeing that everyone has holes to fill at this point. We also don't know how good Zoom and Wilkins will be. Personally, I am excited to see...

    A fun offseason simulation experiment

Agreed! It was such a blast back in the day. Now that my kids are almost grown, I finally have time to play again.

    A fun offseason simulation experiment

Fair enough, but I don’t see us dropping as low as 50, especially after taking a close look at many of the top rosters and noticing that every team outside the top 8–10 has some holes to address. I’d place us between 25–35 without Stokes for now, with potential to improve since we appear to have...

    A fun offseason simulation experiment

It looks great, but I’m not a fan of it still being created within the NBA framework, as it limits the number of teams and makes the tournament feel less authentic, no true dynasty mode and no recruiting. The gameplay does look way better than NCAA 2010 though. Thanks for sharing.

    A fun offseason simulation experiment

I agree, it’s been far too long, and the limited experience they added to 2K this year doesn’t even come close to satisfying the craving. I love playing full 30 season dynasties with UK and also starting with the weakest team in the nation, then building them up over the course of several seasons.

    A fun offseason simulation experiment

Over the weekend, I put together the rosters for next season on NCAA 2010 for Xbox 360. So far, I’ve made over 30 rosters, including ours, of course. I focused on stats and abilities to make each player as realistic as possible. With Stokes on our roster and no other major additions, we’re...
