not a bad idea but it becomes subjective when the ref has to define legitimate. Also, if I am wrestling MM with all his non-stop shooting, I am not necessarily stalling... just can't fit a shot in between his. Bottom line for me, ref has to understand what stalling is and call it. Pretty...
when do we have to start defending the schedule? How soon will accusations of padding the schedule and skipping the national duals event - (cause of the elite OK state presence with their killer soph's) - to keep the win streak alive come out?
- Actually saw two calls on Thursday where wrestler was called for stalling for pushing his opponent out. Proper call. Didn't see it again...
- PSU better get use to it. Seems everyone wants to hand fight and not open up until the last 45 seconds. Then ***** for a stall call after stalling...
I'm with you Tom. I hate sumo and the refs simply need to do their job. The tricky part is that each one evaluates stalling a bit differently. Some, it seems, is based on shot/no shot ratio. But backing up and staying next to the line keeps the opponent from scoring more often than not. Some...

Brands did have comments after the Big10s regarding the match and how mental and chain wrestling needed to improve/be worked on... but then cut it short and didn't elaborate. So they definetly were game planning (again)!
sort of irrelevant of past years. Doesn't matter if this was the first time and it is pretty cool if it was. I wouldn't put any categorization on a kid if he lost and didn't do it. Meaning shaking everyone's hands on the podium only when you win isn't a big deal. Point here, after cooling...
Interesting comment. Had to search for him a few times when he wasn't in the corner. He is usually there and was with his favorites but during the finals he was sanding in the back row of the of the floor. He might simply get too worked up?
yep - depends what his opponent does and he responds. His scrambling is unreal. Against the UNC kid when he was up in the air hanging on to ankles - he had the ankle one way and as soon as the UNC guy started to favor one leg he set himself up to grab the leg inside out. Pretty fun watching...
