Another fall ball scrimmage this Saturday 'On the Banks'!

It sounds great, but the competition is the football game on TV. Plus there is a baseball scrimmage at the same time.

Baseball Rutgers Baseball announces full 2027 schedule

Anyone have any info on the two scrimmages played so far? If not a box score, perhaps some summary of who stood out or disappointed. @HRodriguez? -- @Richie O?

Basketball Rutgers Basketball falls to St. John’s in 4OT exhibition marathon

St. John's was 8-8 in the last OT -- so give them credit. RU 1-4 plus a couple of short arms on shots that were makable. Just a question of legs after all that time.

    OT: The Hunt

My firm had the same spot for years and it was required attendance -- I hated it more every year

Will the person in 125 who took my white seat cushion near the end of the Indiana game please bring it back to me next home game . . .

I would also like to know about the person who scraped my bumper at the same game -- but that is probably too much of an ask

Baseball Mickey Gilligan turns down MLB, opts to play for Rutgers Baseball

@HRodriguez @Richie O -- they got two high level catcher transfers when it appeared that he would sign pro -- will there be issues here with not enough PT to go around even with DH and occasional 1B appearances?

    Trevor Cohen sighting.

Where were they playing him in the outfield?

    Chris Nwuli

He is a legit 6’7” and has long arms and can get off the floor. His ceiling is higher than what the numbers tell you on offense, but he particularly has potential on defense once he learns to key on the right things. Some have said he is a bit quirky, but no one has said he is not a good kid...

Baseball Rutgers Baseball RHP Zack Konstantinovsky drafted in 14th Round by Washington National

Congratulations to him! But the team will definitely miss him.

Basketball Rutgers Basketball to face Houston in Players Era Eight Bracket

It will depend on whether his knee has fully healed over the years

    Chris Nwuli of Rutgers

I would like to have seen RU retain him as the fourth 3/4 option and developmental gamble because he can run, jump and has occasionally shown glimpses of skill. Like I said above – – it was just odd that everyone he guarded seemed to be able to get him on their hip even when they were much...

    Chris Nwuli of Rutgers

I am not so sure that he improved so much during the course of the season -- he played more as the injuries became an issue -- I could never figure out why someone so athletic had such problems with on ball defense. But the fact is that the staff saw enough potential to try to retain him, so...

    Rutgers Baseball

A lot of what you say here is not really accurate. I don’t remember a coach EVER trying so many different batting orders as this coach has done this year. The reason for only scoring four runs on 15 hits is pretty simple – – they went 3–16 with runners in scoring position while going 12–25...

    Will Sydnor to Rutgers

I imagine they were talking about the last recruiting cycle – – RU had a very little for Basketball and considerably less than SHU, but I believe this year RU has more.
