    Football Starmount at East Wilkes

Despite the loss for the Rams, and other issues that can be improved upon, this was a great game, and great atmosphere! It was great to see a packed house, and energy on both sides of the field. East Wilkes just needs more seating on both sides! Fans were standing all around the fence, and on...

Your Cardinal QB Spicer is a little wiz. I think his size, quickness, and snapping the ball right under the center really eluded the defense. It also boiled down to different style of play. And the Vestal kid was like lightning cutting straight up thru the defensive line for multiple runs and...

    Football Starmount at East Wilkes

It was a game to the final seconds! Congratulations to East Wilkes! They came in ready and loaded with speed and quickness. Starmount was guilty of too many errors and ridiculous penalties in the first half. It was evident from the opening kickoff that ended up being a turnover and the...

Wow!…thought last week was up with Keyvon Propst being selected for the Shrine Bowl, but now we see QB Deuce Best has been invited to play in the All-American Blue-Grey Game in Dallas TX in January. Congrats to two of our big dogs at the Ram House!

I will agree with those comments! Starmount over many years has had some success playing on the road in the playoffs. The Ram faithful can travel well, and sometimes there is more energy with the fans just by being in a different atmosphere. I remember well the Rams played Charlotte Catholic...

Well check out Murphy’s opponent average. Playing East Surry is not helping this year, the Cardinals are 1-4. And playing upcoming Robbinsville on the schedule which is 2-4 will make the average dip even more.

That’s awesome and well deserved! He is a monster of a player on the field! Humble and does not give up with or without the ball in his hands. Congratulations to this Starmount Ram! 😁

    Football Alleghany at Starmount

Hi Deana, Do you have any numbers from last night to share? K Propst was lights out….had to have close to 200 yards rushing. He is a beast on both sides of the line. It has been fun watching these kids step up and mature. Even Deuce Best compared to three years ago subbing under Luke...

Not the game I expected. The Trojans looked like a team with some potency by answering with a quick score on its first drive early. The QB has ability to pass and had good coverage. But the Rams revved it up and it became a runaway train. The fans showed on both sides….it was a packed house...
