    Orange High: Class of Durham County football

    Orange had some trouble with Southern but finally got over the hump. Beat Jordan a couple of times during Mosers run also. 1-0 against Eastern Alamance too - that was a classic. Need to get over the Havelock Hump now. This year could be the year if the projections are correct.

    NCPreps.com 3A Top 10 - Week 10

    Don't sleep on Orange, they could go deep in 3A East this season. Only loss was to an 8-0 the projected #1 4A East Seed Hoggard team 20-6. Beat Hillside 31-14 this past week, could have easily been 41-0 if not for two deep TD's and we stalled at the 5 twice and only came out with 3 points...

    Havelock defeats Undefeated West Craven

    Orange/ Havelock game was played with respect and was a great ball game, players showed respect to each other during and after the game. Was knocked down trench type game and was probably the State Championship game for 3A and 3AA. Don't think any team in 3 can beat Orange or Havelock this...

    Not looking ahead and nothing negative on here about the Orange/Havelock game - but yeah Orange has played some pretty good teams in the playoffs at the 3AA level the past three years.

    yeah we went to Havelock in 2012 for the Eastern Finals and traveled well. Came home with the L though...That team is what started Orange's run since then. We are due.

    3AA Football State Championship: Southern Durham (12-3) vs Shelby Crest (15-0) Part 2

    State Championship game was played two weeks ago when Southern beat Orange. The Big 8 is a Bad A$$ Conference. If Southern was not here Orange would have been. Southern will soon be Two-Time Champs.

    now here is a good one fellas, the Southern Durham - Chapel Hill game has now been moved to NCCU due to sloppy field conditions at Southern...it keeps getting better and better. LOL!

    They should be starting out this playoff season as 3-Time State Champs. Let's hope the players and coaching staff are ready to finally make the run to grab the Ring. Might have to make another run thru the Big 8 again to do it.

    I really hope Orange stays good the next few years because all the other Orange County teams seem to be on their way out. Orange is now like the old Northern Durham teams, the only dog in the town - domination.
