Former Georgia player arrested for murder

Sadly enough, his lack of talent will hurt him more with his NBA chances than his criminal charges. The NFL is about the same.

I wish we didn’t have to play auburn

Y'all will beat the War Tigers Plainsmen. One, you have a better team. Two, the Eagle Tigers won't keep up the hot shooting streak and it gets ugly when those 3 pointers quit falling. Three, Bruce Pearl is just way too slimy to go to a Final Four.

Thoughts on the idea of leaving the SEC?

I wouldn't put much stock in that article since it was written by Georgia Tech's beat writer and it is quoting Bill Curry and Pepper Rogers. There is a lot more to the story on why Tech left the conference than what is in this article.

Thoughts on the idea of leaving the SEC?

Actually three programs have left the SEC. Georgia Tech, Tulane and Sewanee. All for different reasons.

“We're just little ol' Abilene Christian; they're big bad Kentucky."

Don't forget high school football. Back in the day the two Abilene high schools were in a district called the "Little Southwest Conference". The rest of the conference was Odessa Permian, Odessa High, Midland R.E. Lee, Midland High, and San Angelo Central. "Friday Night Lights" might have been a...

    Yep, that's about right.

    Your favorite SEC Tournament memories.

I don't remember enough about the game to remember how the "refs" cheated UK. I guess that the tornado cheated y'all by keeping the crowd down?

    Your favorite SEC Tournament memories.

It's funny that the ESPN 30 for 30 type show was on the SEC Channel about an hour ago. Each team was suppose to limited to something like 100 or so people in the arena. Georgia had maybe 50 for the Kentucky game. Kentucky had about twice as many fans as Georgia for that game.

    UGA v MIZZOU

How many coaches get fires after one year unless major scandal, big-time cheating or driving around drunk? Fox didn't leave him many ball handlers.

With a win on Saturday, cats will be SEC Champs.

Ever seen the 1984 SEC Football Champion? Some school called vacated. Let's just say no one got moved up to fill the vacated spot.

Altercation in the tunnel after Nevada loses again

This is why the SEC has rules about storming courts and football fields. Fans don't need to be on either.

    Georgia home attendance record

The Saturday games sold out early. And they have been full. If nothing else, Crean is a good marketer.

    Georgia home attendance record

Georgia has been selling out the games on Saturday. Weeknight games are harder for UGA, and some of the SEC schools, because of small population of the town and not getting fans from Atlanta and the rest of the state. Georgia's sellout games are Arizona State, UMass, Kentucky, Florida, Texas...

WTF, UGA losses cause a fan throws a teddy bear on court?

During a timeout the Georgia cheerleaders were throwing small stuffed animal Georgia Bulldogs into the crowd. I was at the game and a guy in front of me caught one and handed it to a little kid across the aisle.

Does Missouri belong in the SEC ?

Florida State had their chance in 1990 and were too scared to come. Besides do we need another trashy Florida team? Virginia Tech and NC State would be about the same as Missouri. Don't add much, but would be OK. Georgia Tech told us goodbye in 1964. That should be enough, also they would...
