    Calipari wants SEC to take lead in being able to challenge late calls

    Referees can decide the game way before the end of it. It's usually done in the first half with a couple of quick whistles limiting minutes to important players or on the other side refusing to call fouls on certain players keeping them in the game.

    I was over in Greensboro last year and talked a while with a UNC fan. The guy was a bigger UNC football guy than basketball. When I brought up the topic of the academic fraud and what the penalty might be he just laughed it off. Those people really don't think it's a big deal at all.
