My other suggestion would to bring Cahokia in with Highland and keep Alton up with the big division.
I think Highland pairs well in the S7 just the travel headaches for all sports outside of football is going to be tough.

Would Quincy consider leaving Western Big 6? There are 7 teams in that conference. Add Quincy to the large schools and Highland to small school division. 12 team conference.
