Best spots in Nashville for SEC tourney

They have had sound every time I've been there to watch a game

Best spots in Nashville for SEC tourney

Yep, there is a White Duck Taco Shop in there which is really good and a Daddy's Dogs. And I think Prince's Hot Chicken has a spot there too or at least they used to

Corner Pub is a good spot to watch the game. Not on Broadway but it's on 5th Ave, maybe 2 blocks up from Bridgestone and on the other side of the Ryman. The owners I'm pretty sure are UK grads so they always have the games with sound

Best spots in Nashville for SEC tourney

It’s more of a food court/shopping area but i think there’s a smallish concert hall up there too that they’ll be showing the games at. Never been in that part though At least on Saturday I plan to be at Yee Haw brewery/ole Smokey distillery downtown on the other side of the music city center...

Best spots in Nashville for SEC tourney

Pins yes on occasion, it’s fun but usually crowded so there’s a wait on bowling and most yard games. Assembly I never go to unless getting some food before a concert or Preds game

Will and/or Should Reed Declare For The Draft?

Selfishly as a fan I really hope he comes back. But if these mocks are accurate and he’s a lottery pick or even top 5 pick, it will be hard to tell him not to go. Hopefully NIL $ helps guide him back. What won’t help though is that Cal will try to push him out the door though so he can add...

The Z situation sitting makes no sense

Dude I don’t even like Cal. I like Kentucky basketball. So when a guy gets repeatedly torched on pick and rolls and gets pushed around in the paint then I can understand why he is the 3rd big man off the bench. Loyalty to a coach has nothing to do with this and it’s weird that that’s where your...

The Z situation sitting makes no sense

Yes we have all seen the same 3 or 4 highlight plays. I like Z and recognize he is a good shooter, but that’s not who this team needs him to be. The fact remains he is a massive defensive liability and is a poor rebounder for someone his size. It’s not hard to understand why the other 7’ guys...

The Z situation sitting makes no sense

Again, I would encourage you to actually watch him play. Comparing per minute averages of a guy who has played less than 60 minutes to those who have played a full season isn’t the flex you think it is

The Z situation sitting makes no sense

That doesn’t really mean much when has only played what, 50 minutes total? Watch him play in the games and it tells a completely different story than a skewed statistic

Agreed 100%. We need to be holding Mitch’s feet to the fire the same way we hold Cal’s

He can absolutely be fired for losing, he would just still be owed whatever the contract buyout is at that time. But if he were fired “with cause” then he wouldn’t be owed another dime. Unfortunately the requirement of maintaining a certain winning % is not written in his contract.

Well for one thing, it's a pretty easy task to click and see that I've posted with this account for what is now going on 4 years. So not only was that a weird attempt at a burn, it was just dumb. And for another, nobody on here is defending Calipari - I would assume most of us actually would...

    Wolken on this UK team

I think most of us agree with your sentiment. But if you think for a second that a quote where he says he is coaching for the players on his team will hold up in the court of law as a legitimate means for termination then you are an insane person past the point of help. I assume you have a...

The Z situation sitting makes no sense

Z could end up being very good in time but right now he is not much of an asset to the team. Sure he can shoot but that's not what this team needs from him. Fact is that he is soft as Charmin which makes him a defensive liability, he's a poor rebounder for his size, and his offensive post play...
